History | Serving Lancaster PA residents for over 40 years
Neffsville Plumbing & Heating Services of Lancaster, PA is in its third generation of operation in the plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical fields. 
 
  • 1940 - G.C. Groff (Charles) and George Kratzert started the business in Neffsville, PA.

    Their shop was in a barn at the rear of apartments on Petersburg Road near the Rt. 501 intersection.  Eventually G.C. Groff moved the shop to City Mill Road off of King Street in Lancaster.

  • 1972 - Richard E. Groff bought the business and moved it back to Neffsville on Valley Road next to the Manheim Township schools property. 

  • 1987 - Richard E. Groff and Sons bought Gibble Brothers plumbing & heating in Neffsville and rented their building on 501 in Neffsville behind the then Sunoco Service station.  At that time our name changed to Neffsville Plumbing and Heating Services.

  • 1998 - Richard D. Groff (Rick) took over the business and named Jon LePage Vice President.  Jon LePage bought a 10% stake in the business.

  • 2000 - We moved to our present location at 211 Bucky Drive in the Airport Business Park near the Lancaster Airport.

Our business mix is 90% residential service and replacement of plumbing, cooling, heating, and electrical systems.  Ten percent of our makeup is remodeling and some commercial service accounts.

Our growth strategy is to acquire residential and commercial service accounts (customers) in all of Lancaster County who appreciate our dedication and professionalism to our trades.  Honest and fair treatment can always be expected.
